First to Seven was created after a particularly productive jam session. Since its creation, First to Seven has grown both musically and creatively, adding Andrew Bisdale and Tanmay Parekh to its line up.
Andrew and I started First to Seven back in 2006. We each had an acoustic guitar and somehow, we came up with songs pretty quickly. We spent that school year mostly recording our demo Extending Story and doing a few little performances around our dorm. After that year we decided to turn First to Seven into a full band.
Tanmay lived on the same floor and I asked him if he wanted to play drums for us. Finding a bassist though was pretty difficult, because we didn't know anyone who did. I saw a pic of Andrew (Bisdale, yeh the same names gets confusing when we practice) playing bass on facebook and asked him if he felt like joining a band. When we had a first full jam session, the whole time Andrew [Lee] and I just kept thinking "oh man, Tanmay and Bisdale make us actually sound good.
